One of the most anticipated aspects of each year's festival are the giveaways. This year, we have prepared several giveaways that are sure to appeal to all guests coming to the festival.

Everybody likes to get FREE money! This year, every day we will be giving away $7 Amish Acres Gift Cards (equal to one adult admission and valid in all of Amish Acres courtyard shops) to the first 500 guests that spend $50 or more in artist purchases. Simply bring your receipts to the competition tent and be one of the first 500 to receive your gift card (Limit one gift card per guest).

In coordination with our 2015 festival theme "Art Makes the World Go Round," we have partnered with Homestyle Furniture in Nappanee to give away this $4,000 Child's Play-Set. Whether you're a parent or a grandparent, every festival visitor can enjoy this fun and exciting prize. The winner may choose to pick up the play set at Homestyle Furniture or have Homestyle Furniture deliver and install (extra fee). Enter to win in the competition tent.

Each year, we design a handmade quilt worth $2,000 to give away at the end of the year. The 46th Amish Acres Anniversary Quilt is the Banty Rooster King Quilt! The quilt's pattern was designed by Amish Acres Founder Richard Pletcher and the top is being sewn by Amber Burgess, The Round Barn Theatre's Costumer. Elizabeth and Katie Borkholder and other experienced area quilters will finish this masterpiece in time for Fall Harvest Days. The drawing will be held on New Year's Eve. You can enter in any of Amish Acres shops or in the competition tent.

Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival, for the seven time in nine years, has been chosen by The American Bus Association as one of its TOP 100 Events in North America in 2015. The festival is selected by "The Culture Trip" as one of Indiana's 10 Summer Events and Festivals "You Shouldn't Miss" in 2015, solidifying the festival’s standing in the top echelon of America’s festivals dedicated to the creative arts. The Culture Trip is a London based one-stop, global website, showcasing the best of art, food, culture and travel for every country in the world. Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival joins nine other Hoosier events for the summer of 2015 with seven of the 10 events residing in Indianapolis including the Indiana State Fair and Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra's Marsh Symphony. Indiana University Bloomington and Valpariso University were chosen in addition to Amish Acres Festival, the only Arts & Crafts event listed.

The festival and marketplace are located outdoors around the farm's pond. Richard Pletcher, founder of the festival and Amish Acres, remains CEO and Jennifer Pletcher Wysong is the festival director. The fourth generation is now involved in the event’s management.

In recognition of the 50th anniversary festival in 2012, Senator Ryan Mishler presented a Senate Resolution from the Indiana General Assembly, commendations from the Indiana House of Representatives, and a personal letter from Governor Mitch Daniels and founder Richard Pletcher was named a Distinguished Hoosier by Governor Daniels. Additional recognition to the half-century achievement included a key to the City of Nappanee and recognition from the Nappanee Public Library and the Elkhart County Convention and Visitors' Bureau.

The readers of Sunshine Artist magazine have ranked the festival as high as the 3rd best Classic and Contemporary Craft Show in the country. Travel Trade Magazine's Focus 500 lists Amish Acres first among its top ten attractions for group travel in Indiana. Senior Group Traveler chose the festival as its only Indiana selection included in their Editor's Choice List of Outstanding Festivals and Major Events: one of only seventy nationwide. This national recognition has been earned by the exhibitors and the festival’s staff.

The show is promoted with extensive local, regional and national print, billboard, television, radio, Internet, email, social media, and direct mail advertising with online retail opportunities to attract buyers specifically interested in unique hand crafted products. The festival’s target audience encircles Nappanee from Chicago to Indianapolis to Toledo and Detroit.

Amish AcresOver five decades the festival has earned the respect of talented artisans from across the country because of its sales history, commitment to quality, juried products and family friendly but business-oriented approach to show management. The show is limited to approximately 300 booth spaces, with nearly 250 cities in over 30 states represented by exhibitors.
