Arts & Crafts Festival Facts Sheet
The 51st annual Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival, Thursday through Sunday, August 1 - 4, 2013. The show's hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. It is held on the grounds of Amish Acres, an 80 acre historic farm restoration, and reflects the heritage and folk art of the plain people who homesteaded this land.

Admission: Adults $7.00, 12 and Under Free - No Pets Allowed
Parking: Free with seven different entrances into several different parking areas
Arts and Crafts: 300 juried artists and crafters from 250 cities and 35 states display and sell their work in a marketplace atmosphere
Entertainment and Music: Barbershop quartets, folk singers, square dancers, and strolling musicians. Country and bluegrass music, line dancers, cloggers, marionettes, medicine show, whip cracker, magician, clowns and story tellers. Contests:Entrants compete for $5,000 in cash prizes, including two $1,000 Best of Show awards in two and three dimensional categories. Awards given by judges in 6 two and three dimensional categories. Awards also given for total booth presentation as voted on by visitors.
Food: Country foods including pork barbeque, sweet corn, sausage, black cows, malts, fried vegetables, fresh fruit, donkey ears, knee patches, strawberry shortcake, onion rings, fresh baked bread, lemonade, iced sassafras tea, family style restaurant, meat & cheese shop, antique soda fountain, fudge shop, and more.
Participation: Visitors vote for favorite booths; drawings for visitor give-aways including theatre and overnight getaway packages; wagon rides; guided tours; and documentary films
Spectator Events: Demonstrations including quilting, weaving, broom making, lye soap making, wood carving, silversmiths, rug hookers, sculptors
