Easter at Amish Acres
Easter brings Amish Acres back to life each spring
|
The secular traditions and festivities that surround and symbolize
Easter create a spring stir on the farm. An Easter egg hunt for 1,000
hidden eggs in the courtyard brings out a vigorous group of kids of
all ages. A coloring contest in the Barn Loft Grill provides a place
for families to wait for their tables while the kids did their best
to stay within the lines--easier for some than others.
Easter Dinner is Easy at Amish Acres
Treat the family to more than Easter dinner; treat them to an Easter celebration at historic Amish Acres! Easter is the perfect holiday to gather the entire family for famous Threshers Dinner served buffet style in the century old barn restaurant. Enjoy the relaxing view of the farm as you dine amid the hand hewn beams around antique tables and chairs. Start your meal with a bowl of piping hot bean soup along with country broasted chicken, cider baked ham, and tender roast beef. It’s all included for one low price. The atmosphere and delicious meal at Amish Acres will remind you of by-gone family meals without the cooking or clean up!

Many come in their Easter finest in pinks and light blues although Easter bonnets are harder and harder to find each year--a shame.
